Minister-Counsellor (Labour) partake in Songkran Festival in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture

On 9 June 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr.Saichon Akanitvong, Minister-Counsellor (Labour), to partake in Songkran Festival in Kawagoe city, Saitama prefecture. The group of Thai people in Saitama acted as a committee in this event.
The activities in this event include bathing the Buddha, offering scented water to the respected ones for blessings, and performing Thai traditional dance in front of the picture of King of Thailand and the Emperor of Japan. These were meant to celebrate the new era under the King and the Emperor. There were a lot of Thai and Japanese people participating this event.
