The 74th Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony 2019

On 8 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madame together with Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka made the floral contribution at the Nagasaki Hypocenter.

On the following day, 9 August 2019, they attended the 72nd annual Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony held in the Peace Park in Nagasaki City. On this occasion, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag, the representative of Ambassadors in Asia region offered flowers at the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony, also Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the event. Besides Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, other high ranking government officials such as H.E. Mr. Tadanori Oshima, President of the House of Representatives. as well as Mr. Tomihisa Taue, Mayor of Nagasaki City, along with atomic bomb survivors and bereaved family members, all attended the ceremony, which included approximately 6,000 people.
