The 34th Japan-Thailand Nagamasa Festival

On 6 October 2019, Mrs. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor, together with Mr. Seksan Sripraiwan, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tokyo and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the 34th Japan-Thailand Nagamasa Festival in Sengen Street, Shizuoka Prefecture. The Minister Counsellor gave an opening speech and participated in the parade and worship ceremony for Yamada Nagamasa, a Japanese adventurer who gained considerable influence in the Ayutthaya Kingdom of Thailand at the beginning of the 17th century. In this event, there were several Thai food and products presented. Thai cultural performance and lucky draw were supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
