The Royal Thai Embassy and Japan Sepaktakraw Federation visited the elementary schools in Ryugasaki city, Ibaraki

On 19 November 2019, Mrs. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary together with the embassy staffs gave a lecture about Thailand to the elementary students of the Nareumadai School and Nareshiba School in Ryugasaki City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Ryugasaki city is selected to be the host town of Thai athletics for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. This lecture was held as one part of the Olympic and Paralympic Game subject for the elementary school students.
In addition, with the cooperation of the Japan Sepaktakraw Federation, the representative players of Japan explained the rule of the sport “Sepaktakraw”, introduced acrobatic techniques and games and the students actually kicked the ball. Finally, students of each school expressed their gratitude by their choir and ensemble singing.
