Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organised a reception on the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Father’s Day 2019

On 5 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy organised a reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Father’s Day at Peacock Room, Imperial Hotel. More than 900 of Thai and Japanese people including representatives from Japanese authorities and business sectors, diplomatic corps attended the reception.

On this occasion, Ambassador Sington Lapisetapun delivered his welcome remarks by explaining how the day 5 December is one of the most significant days of Thai people including the reason that the day was chosen by United Nations as “World Soil Day” to recognised in memory and with respect to His Late Majesty’s work dedicating for the sustainable management of soil resources. Afterwards, H.E. Ms. Masako Mori, Minister of Justice proposed a toast for His Majesty King Rama X and the Ambassador proposed a toast for the Emperor and the Empress of Japan.
