Royal Thai Armed Forces Day 2020

On 24 January 2020, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan presided over the opening ceremony of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day together with Japan Air Self -Defense Force Chief of Staff Gen. Yoshinari Marumo Gen. Yoshinari Marumo at the hall of the Royal Thai Embassy, which was organized by the Office of the Defence Attache in Tokyo and the Royal Thai Embassy. It was an honor to have H.E. Mr. Taro Kono, Minister of Defense of Japan participating the event as well as over 200 distinguished guests such as the military diplomatic mission and foreign corps in Japan, high level of representatives from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan including Thai military students in Japan which Thai student is the largest number of the international student at the National Defense Academy of Japan (NDA). On this occasion, Thailand and Japan reassured to promote the cooperation in all dimension and continue expansion of defense cooperation.
