On 29 January 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun assigned Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister-Counsellor to be the representative to attend the opening ceremony of the Thai Pavilion, with Dr. Wannee Chinsirikul, Director of the National Nanotechnology Center and Ms. Wiraka Muthitaporn, Director of the Economic Information Division Department of International Economic Affairs as the opening speaker of the Thai Pavilion in the exhibition The 19th International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference (nano tech 2020) at Tokyo Big Sight under this year topic of Thai Pavilion presented the "Nanovation for smart society".
