Ambassador and his spouse participated in the Setubun Festival at Narita San Temple


On 3 February 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun and his spouse attend the Setsubun Festival or the Japan's bean-throwing festival to celebrate the beginning of spring since ancient times at Narita-san Temple, Chiba Prefecture.  Japan believes that changing seasons may result in bad luck. So Throwing the soybeans represents getting rid of bad luck and welcoming good luck. The event was attended by many famous people such as Hakuho and Takayama, the top sumo wrestlers as well as historical drama actors "Kiringa kuru" such as Hiroki HASEGAWA, Mugi KADOWAKI and Masahiro MOTOKI. The Setsubun festival is annually held on the 3rd of February.
