Ambassador welcomed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour

On 4 February 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun welcomed H.E. Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and the delegation to exchange views and opinions on Thai labour in Japan.

On the same day, Ambassador witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation for Proper Operation of the System Pertaining to Foreign Human Resource with the Status of Residence of "Specified Skilled Worker (MOC)" by the Permanent Secretary for Labour and Ms. Sasaki Shoko, Director-General of the Justice Ministry’s Immigration Bureau Japan.

The signing of the MOC will be one of the opportunities for Thai semi-skilled workers to work in Japan which helps solving the labour shortage problem in Japan.
