The Royal Thai Embassy welcomes Robot Sumo organisers.

On 24 March 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun assigned Mr. Romdej Phisalpong, Minister-Counselor to welcome the 31st All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament organising delegation, a robot competition that the Thai national team will later join for three consecutive years.

The All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament is organised by Japan's Fujisoft company, aimed at promoting robotics innovation in many countries around the world. Thailand’s competition – All Thailand FSI – will be organised by Thailand’s P Robot company in cooperation with Fujisoft. The Thai national winning team will be joining in the All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament in Japan, together with national winners from other countries.

The Royal Thai Embassy is delighted to support Thai youth to participate in the All Japan Robot Sumo Tournament event, which is in line with the Royal Thai Government’s policy in promoting robotic innovation. The Embassy also looks forward to welcoming the Thai national team who will come to Tokyo on 12-13 December 2020 to compete in the 31st Grand Final round.
