Toyota Motor Corporation executive pays a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 7 July 2020 Mr. MIYAZAKI Yoichi, Operating Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of the Asianregion, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun and officers in charge of Thailand-Japan economic cooperation, before assuming his new position as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Singapore.

Mr. MIYAZAKI considered the Asian region as the origin of Toyota. Keeping that in mind, the company wishes to contribute its best to the region. Currently, 50 percent of Toyota car production in Thailand is made for domestic consumption, while the other 50 percent is for export.

Ambassador Singtong said that Toyota has been contributing significantly to the economy and society of Thailand and express his willingness to continue the cooperation with Toyota in the future.
