On 15 October 2020, Mr. MASAKI Hiroshi, Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive, Global Commercial Banking Business Unit, MUFG Bank, Ltd. paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun.
In this occasion, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to MUFG for donating financial assistance to Thai students studying in Japan to alleviate their financial trouble caused by COVID-19 so that they can further their study in Japan. The Thai Students' Association in Japan Under the Royal Patronage is currently in the process of allocating the said fund to Thai students in need according to MUFG’s purpose.
