Ambassador of Thailand to Japan delivered the Opening Remarks during the first Web Seminar organized by the Yamagata & Thailand Friendship Association

On 21 October 2020, H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun delivered the Opening Remarks during the first Web Seminar organized by Yamagata & Thailand Friendship Association (YTFA). The seminar aims to provide better understanding about Thailand’s current situation during COVID-19 and was attended by more than 100 audiences online.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to YTFA members for their endeavors in building good relations between Thailand and Yamagata. As Thailand can cope with COVID-19 very well and at present there is no domestic transmission of such disease, the Thai Government has therefore relaxed its border restrictions. The Ambassador also provided information on Thailand’s measures regarding its economic recovery. Mr. Hiroji SAGAE, Chairman of YTFA, also emphasized his willingness to continue enhancing relations between Thai and Yamagata people.
