Ambassador of Thailand exchanged views with Deputy Director-General for World Expo 2025

On 12 February 2021, Mr. CHIYO Koichi, Deputy Director-General for World Expo 2025, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand. They exchanged views about the progress of World EXPO 2025 in Osaka which Japanese government extends invitation to Thailand to join. On this occasion, Ms. SUGIMOTO Kaoruko, a well-known flower artist, presented to the Ambassador the bouquet of red, blue and white flowers, which represent the colors of the national flags of both countries and symbolise long relations between Thailand and Japan.
