Travelers with nationality of Japan and listed countries can enter Thailand with Special Tourist Visa (STV) / Tourist Visa Exemption (30 days) / Visa on Arrival (VOA).

*Visa Exemption scheme allows passport holders of Japan and other listed countries to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days starting from 1 October 2021 onwards. List of countries/territories eligible for Visa Exemption can be viewed at http://site.thaiembassy.jp/en/visa/type/9792/

*Special Tourist Visa (STV) scheme (for a single entry with staying period not exceeding 90 days) is extended until 30 September 2022.

*Visa on Arrival (VOA) scheme allows passport holders of the listed countries/ territories (other than Japan) to apply for a visa upon arrival (for a single entry with staying period not exceeding 15 days) at any international airport in Thailand starting from 1 October 2021 onwards.
