Announcement Guideline for Travelling to Thailand from 1 November 2021 onwards

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand will launch a new system for entry into Thailand, called Thailand Pass (tp.consular.go.th), which will be open for registration from 1 November 2021 onwards.

1. Travelers with approved COEs who will enter Thailand before or after 1 November 2021 can use the issued COEs to enter Thailand and, therefore, are not obliged to re-register through Thailand Pass.

2. Travelers who are awaiting the approval of COEs and will enter Thailand before or on 10 November 2021 are requested to continue proceeding with the current COE system. Once approved, travelers can use the COEs to enter Thailand and, therefore, are not obliged to re-register through Thailand Pass.

3. Travelers who have not yet applied for COEs and will enter Thailand between 1-10 November 2021 are requested to apply for COE (at coethailand.mfa.go.th) by 28 October 2021.

4. Travelers who have not yet applied for COEs and will enter Thailand from 11 November 2021 onwards are requested to register with Thailand Pass (at tp.consular.go.th), which will be open for registration on 1 November 2021, at least 7 business days before the departure date.
