Thailand Promotes Tourism with 
a 30-day Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme 
for Chinese and Kazakhstani Tourists 
Starting from 25 September 2023 to 29 February 2024

​​In accordance with the Royal Thai Government’s policy on the promotion of tourism, a tourist visa exemption scheme is implemented for Chinese and Kazakhstani passport holders (or travel document holders) to enter Thailand for the purpose of tourism without the need to apply for a tourist visa (tourist visa exemption with no fee) and stay within Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days, starting from 25 September 2023 to 29 February 2024, on a temporary basis.
