Evening at the Thai Embassy

On 22 August 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy organised an “Evening at the Thai Embassy” reception at the Royal Thai Embassy Hall with the aim to showcase Thailand’s economic competitiveness and social advantages as well as trade and investment opportunities. The reception was well-attended by 120 guests, including members of the National Diet, business community in Tokyo and Yokohama, and Friends of Thailand from other sectors.

H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, took this opportunity to reassure the continuity in Thailand’s key economic policies. He reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to open and market-based economy, business-friendly environment and development of quality infrastructures. Thailand will always remain welcoming and supportive to Japan’s investment, businesses and visitors. The Ambassador also emphasised Thailand's determination to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Japan in key areas, including green transformation and human resources development, particularly in science and technology, for mutual benefits of both countries.
