Best wishes from Thailand to Japan. Together, we shall overcome the COVID-19 crisis.


The woven “Pla-Ta-Pian” fish mobiles, made from bai lan, or fan palm fronds, is one of Thailand’s cultural heritages. In the old days, Thai people believed that Pla-Ta-Pian was a symbol of abundance and strength, as the fish could survive in any water sources and normally grew to full size around the same time that rice was ready for harvesting. A Pla-Ta-Pian mobile is also considered auspicious for a baby and was traditionally hung over a baby’s cradle to bless them with good health and prosperity.
