On 11 December 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy provided mobile consular services at the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate-General in Nagoya, Aichi prefecture, during which approximately 100 Thai nationals residing in Aichi and nearby prefectures received services for passports, family registration, family affairs and legalization as well as consultation services on consular related matters. Moreover, there were consultation services for Thai workers provided by the Office of Labor Affairs in Japan and an online lecture by a Thai psychologist on how to manage stress and improve mental health.
On this occasion, the Consul and the Embassy representatives also met with representatives of Thai students and Thai volunteers in Aichi Prefecture to provide information on consular related matters in order to support their role in assisting Thai community in the area. In addition, the Consul and the Embassy representatives had discussed with Mr. Yasushi Morishita, Assistant to the Royal Thai Honorary Consul-General in Nagoya, on the protection of Thai nationals in Aichi Prefecture and the provision of information to both Thai and Japanese national son how to travel to Thailand amidst covid-19 situation, as well as cooperation between the Embassy and the Honorary Consulate-General Office in providing the mobile consular services in Aichi Prefecture in the future.
