２０２１年８月１９日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使を含む駐日アセアン大使は、ピーター・タン シンガポール大使が議長を務める「第３０５回アセアン委員会東京（ＡＣＴ）バーチャルミーティング」に参加しました。会議では、東京２０２０オリンピック・パラリンピック大会や日本での新型コロナウィルスの感染状況などについて意見を交わしました。オリンピック・パラリンピック大会の精神を尊重して、大使達は各国のユニフォーム姿で会議に出席、オリンピックに参加したアセアン各国の選手の活躍を称えるとともに、２０２１年８月２４日～９月５日に開催されるパラリンピック大会に出場する選手の健闘を祈りました。
