2022年2月28日、アセアン委員会東京（ACT）の議長を2022年上半期に担うシントン・ラーピセートパン大使は、第308回ACTミーティングの議長を務めました。アセアン大使やその代表者は日本の新型コロナウィルスの感染状況や水際対策、地域情勢などについて意見交換をしました。会議に続いて、現在の衆議院外務委員会委員長である城内実衆議院議員をお迎えし、講演が行われました。講演の中で城内氏は、アセアンと日本が多くの分野で特別なパートナーであることに触れ、アセアンと日本の協力関係を更に発展させていくことへの決意を強調しました。

公使がシンガポール大使館にて開催された「第306回アセアン委員会東京ミーティング」に出席
2021年10月22日、プラーンティップ・ガーンジャナハッタキット公使は、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使の代理としてピーター・タン シンガポール大使が議長を務める「第306回アセアン委員会東京（ＡＣＴ）ミーティング」に参加しました。日本国内の新型コロナウィルス感染症の感染状況が落ち着いていることを踏まえて、会議は2020年2月以来となる対面形式により開催されました。会議では、日本での新型コロナウィルスの感染状況、アセアン各国の水際対策、日本国内の政治状況や地域情勢などについて意見交換が行われました。またこの機会に、ウン・ラチャナ駐日カンボジア大使とダト・ケネディ・ジャワン駐日マレーシア大使の離任に対する送別の品として記念盾が贈呈されました。
