青森県と青森県りんご関連協会の代表者が大使を表敬訪問
2021年12月13日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は、青森県、一般社団法人青森県りんご輸出協会、一般社団法人青森県りんご対策協議会の代表者らの表敬訪問を歓迎し、青森県産のりんごの贈呈を受けました。タイ王国農務担当官事務所の公使参事官も同席しました。
青森県産のりんごはタイで大変人気があり、2020年には日本からタイに753トンが輸出され、台湾、香港に次いで第3位の輸入国となっています。大使と代表者らは、青森県からタイを訪問して、りんごや観光地、両国間の交流などについて紹介する企画について意見交換を行いました。これは、タイにおける青森県産のりんご市場の拡大につながると同時に、日本でのタイ産果物の市場拡大にもつながります。

Ambassador Singtong attends the orientation for KOSEN scholarship students from Thailand

Counsellor (Education), and Mrs. Pattamawadee Aueareechit, Counsellor (Consul), participated in a virtual Orientation for 16Thai students who received a scholarship to study at KOSEN (National Institute of Technology) in various prefectures including Aomori, Ibaraki, Okayama. Miyagi, Hyogo and Niigata. During the said orientation, Ambassador Singtong shared experiences and gave guidance to the students in order to prepare for their study and living in Japan.
