On 26 October 2025, the Ambassador of Thailand to Japan assigned Mrs. Vipavee Rangsimaporn, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, to attend the Royal Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Wat Phra Chetuphon Narita, in Chiba Prefecture. This year, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed the Royal Kathina Robe upon Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul, the Executive Chairman of the Benchachinda Group, to present to the temple.
