On this occassion, both sides discussed the development of EEC as well as the investment. On 4 July 2018, the Mizuho Bank supported the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee by holding a seminar under the theme of "EEC: Thailand 4.0 in action" at Keidanren where the Ambassador gave an opening remarks and organzied the exhibition including mini project model to be displayed.

2018年10月17日、バンサーン・ブンナーク大使はみずほ銀行の今井誠司専務執行役員と昼食会を行いました。この機会に両者は、東部経済回路（EEC）進捗状況と投資促進について話し合いました。2018年7月4日にみずほ銀行は、東部経済回路事務局と共催で「EEC:Thailand 4.0 in action」をテーマにセミナーを都内の経団連で開催しました。セミナーでは、大使が開催の挨拶を述べ、東部経済回路構想の展示も行いました。同事務局とみずほ銀行は、2018年3月22日に東部経済回路地域への海外投資を促進させるために業務協定覚書を締結しています。
