2014.06.30 Ambassador lectured at Meiji University

On 30 June 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising gave a special lecture on Thailand, its current situation, Thailand-Japan relations and Thailand’s role in Asia.  The lecture was part of “Mutual Understanding among Asians” class of Political Science and Economics Faculty, Meiji University, Kandasurugadai Campus, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo.  The audience included the students and other interested persons, approximately 80 people in total.

... Flower Festival is held annually in Hiroshima, which attracts more than 1,000,000 visitors every year. The Association sold Thai mangoes and Nanglae pineapples in their booth. This pineapple is developed by Associate Professor Dr. Pittaya Sruamsiri of Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University, who is responsible for the project of development of Thai fresh pineapple for export under the Japan - Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement (JTEPA).
