Special lecture at Tokyo Institute of Technology

On 19 January 2015, Mr. Sittikorn Chantadansuwan, Counsellor, gave a special lecture in a class of Southeast Asian History and Ethnicity at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Okayama Campus. He answered questions about political situation, modern history from Students and touched upon Thailand in brief, history, culture, embassy`s activities and mutual assistance during hardship from natural disaster, which indicates the long friendship between Thailand and Japan.

On 30 January 2023, Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister Counsellor, attended a briefing on the outcomes of the Japan Friendship Ties Program “JENESYS2022 ASEAN-Japan History of Development Cooperation” at Shinjuku NS Building, Tokyo. On 31 August 2012, Mme Aumaporn Futrakul, spouse of Ambassador, hosted a dinner for Mrs. Ogawa, spouse of Governor of Fukuoka Prefecutre, as well as spouses of businessmen from Fukuoka prefecture.
