2013.01.31 Nishi Waseda Junior High School visited the Embassy

On 31 January 2013, seven students from Nishi Waseda Junior High School visited the Embassy to learn about Thai culture and history. Miss Pakvipa Ahviphan, First Secretary, welcomed the students and made a briefing about Thai flag, festivals and the recovery situation after the flood.

Nakafurano Elementary School visited the Embassy

On 14 January 2015, five students from Nakafurano Elementary School, Hokkaido visited the Embassy to learn about Thai culture and history. Miss Ranida Chamchalerm, First Secretary, welcomed the students and gave a briefing on Thailand in all aspects. The students were excited and focused their attention on Thai sports, Thai food and culture difference.

2013.02.06 Inokuchi Junior High School visited the Embassy

On 6 February 2013, 12 students from Inokuchi Junior High School in Hiroshima town, Hiroshima prefecture visited the Embassy to learn about Thai culture and history. Miss Pakvipa Ahviphan, First Secretary, welcomed the students and made a briefing about daily life, world heritage sites in Thailand, and the importance of the King and Buddhism for Thai people.

Students from Chulalongkorn University visited the Embassy

On 14 July 2015, a group of professors and students from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, upon their study visit to learn about the city planning in Tokyo. The group also had a chance to visit the ambassadors residence which has a long history and unique architecture.

2014.03.06-07 NHK Culture Center’s visit to Thai Embassy

On 6-7 March 2014, were welcomed by Mme Monthip Upatising, Ambassador’s spouse, welcomed 27 and 24 members from NHK Culture Center, respectively, at the Residence.  After briefing about Thailand, Thai culture, Thailand-Japan relations and the history of the Thai Residence, the guests enjoyed Thai traditional dance, music performance and Thai cuisine.

Lecture on Thailand at Tokyo University

On 19 December 2014, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister of Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo, gave a lecture on the relationship between Japan and Thailand from the point of view of Thai Diplomat at University of Tokyo, Hongo campus. The lecture was organized by Chikyu Shimin Club of the University. Minister talked about history of Japan-Thailand relationship, including economic situation, export-import business, tourism, etc.

Saruhashi Junior High School, Niigata visited Embassy

On 12 th March, 2015, nine students from Saruhashi Junior High School, Niigata, visited the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo. The purpose of the visit is to learn about Thailand in all aspects. The group was welcomed by Mr. Mr.Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister. The purpose of this visit is to learn more about Thai history and cultures, as well as Thai ways of living.
