The 68th Birthday Celebration for Thai Elephant “Hanako” at Inokashira Park Zoo

On 1 February 2015, Minister Counsellor Mr.Nattapong Lathapipat and his spouse attended the 68th birthday anniversary of the Thai elephant “Hanako” at Inokashira Park Zoo in Tokyo. On 6 August 2015, Miss Ranida Chamchalerm, Counsellor, went to see paintings of “Hanako” Thai Elephant at Un Petit Garage Art Space in Ginza displayed under the theme of “Animaless Zoo Project INOKASHIRA” and painted by Miss Aki Fueda. Miss Fueda is an artist who is interested in painting memorable and significant subjects. Hanako Elephant is now 68 years old and lives in Inokashira Park Zoo in Tokyo.

2015年8月6日、ラニダー・シャムシャラーム参事官は銀座のUn Petit Garageアートスペースで開催された「Animaless Zoo Project INOKASHIRA 」の展示会にて、笛田亜紀さんが描いたタイの象「はな子」の油絵を観賞しました。笛田さんは、将来に残しておくべき大切な物や景色などをテーマに描く画家として活躍しています。「はな子」は現在68歳で、井の頭自然文化園で飼育されています。

The presentation ceremony of a Hanako oil painting

... Ambassador with another painting of Hanako (Hanako-Greeting). After the ceremony, the Ambassador held a luncheon in the Residence of the Royal Thai Embassy for official ceremony guests. Hanako the elephant, is now 68 years old and she resides at the Inokashira Zoo, Tokyo.
