... 7th Thai Speech Contest. The Ambassador pointed out that students who understand both Japanese and Thai are important forces to develop better relations between the two countries.
The speech contest was jointly held by the Royal Thai Embassy and KandaUniversityofInternationalStudies on 15 December 2012. Students from KandaUniversityofInternationalStudies, Osaka University, Keio University, Tokyo Universityof Foreign Studies, and Utsunomiya University gave speeches under the topic “Hope” at the contest.
On July 13, 2023, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, gave a lecture on the topic of "Thai-Japanese friendship and the future of young people" at KandaUniversityofInternationalStudies. On this occasion, Ambassador Singtong explained about long historical relations between the two countries, and the friendship which has expanded to all aspects. About 100 students attended the lecture, including students whose major is Thai studies....
