2023年7月21日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は、栃木県日光市の国際文化交流団体「日光清風塾」会員及び東京大学学生団体「Multilateral Interaction with Students（MIS）」のメンバー、全27名のタイ大使館訪問を歓迎し挨拶をしました。大使は挨拶の中で、タイの現状や経済、観光、文化交流など多様な分野における日タイの良好な関係について紹介しました。それに対して日光清風塾の河合正男塾長も挨拶を行い、両国の親密な関係がさらに発展していくことを祈願すると述べました。
