February 2014, Burapha University and delegates paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Thanatip Upatising. On this occasion, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Minister Counseller and Ms. Nittaya Aumbithaya, Director of TAT Tokyo delivered a presentation on Tourism Promotion Trends and the Relationship between Thailand and Japan for the delegates.

... Club of Japan (FCCJ), held a press conference to launch the 16th Thai Festival at FCCJ’s headquater.
H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, and Mrs. Juthaporn Rerngronasa, Deputy Governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), gave a briefing on the said festival, which was held during 16-17 May 2015 at the Yoyogi Park, to the Japanese media crews.
The dinner party “Amazing Thai Night” was also held with shows from Thailand’s famous artists joining the festival....

タイ国政府観光庁（TAT）は、CNNトラベルがタイのマッサマンカレーが「世界の美食トップ50」の1位に、トムヤムクンが8位に、ソムタム（パパイヤのサラダ）が46位にランクインしたことを発表しました。
ユタサックTAT総裁は、「このリストはタイ料理が世界クラスの料理として、その評判が認知されているという証です。タイは食通をうならせる観光地と言えます。COVID-19の状況が改善したら、世界中から観光客や食通が料理の旅に出るでしょう。タイは個性豊かなそれぞれの地域でタイ料理を通してタイらしさを探求する準備ができています。」と述べました。
