On 11 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Saichon Akanitvong, Minister Counsellor (Labour) to attend the 14th annual parade in Kawagoe which was participated by Thai community in Saitama to raise awareness of Thailand. This event was participated by Thai community for 12 years. Besides Thai community, there were also others from Korea, the Phillipines and Indonesia total of 500 participants.

大使が埼玉県川越市副市長と埼玉県在住タイ人グループ一行を歓迎
2022年6月1日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は、埼玉県川越市の栗原薫副市長と埼玉県在住タイ人グループ一行をお迎えして、タイ人観光客にとって重要な観光都市である川越市との文化交流や2020年東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会において、タイ空手代表選手をホストタウンとして受入れたなどの相互協力について話し合われました。
更に埼玉県在住タイ人グループのアドバイザーである泉田スジンダ氏によるグループ活動の報告が行われ、在日タイ人や訪日タイ人観光客へのサポート活動、及び川越市との文化交流活動に関して話し合われました。文化交流については、ソンクラーン祭りやパレードの開催、タイ料理の実演、タイ舞踊、タイ語及び日本語教育等の活動の報告がなされ、大使はこれらの活動に対し称賛の意を示し、引き続き相互のより密接な関係が築けるよう話しました。
