... Utrillo and Saeki - The Beautiful Towns and Villages of France -” at Hotel Okura, Tokyo. The art pieces displayed in the event were works by the French and Japanese impressionist artists. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. The Embassy supported the event by lending the oil painting of Kanji Maeda titled “Umi (the sea)” which belongs to the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. The painting was completed in 1929.
