2014.06.14 Royal Thai Embassy held 2nd training on safety from disaster

The Royal Thai Embassy held the 2nd training on safety measures against disaster such as earthquakes and tsunami, lectured by Associate Professor Dr. Anawat Suppasri, tsunami expert and Tohoku University lecturer.   Approximately 30 Thai residents in Aichi and nearby prefectures attended the training.

 2022年6月24日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は日本の地方と協力関係を深めるため、仙台市を訪問しました。その際、東北大学を訪問し、理事・副学長の植木俊哉教授をはじめ、大学で教鞭をとっているタイの先生や在学中のタイ人留学生と協議をしました。  植木副学長はタイと東北大学が親密な関係にあることを強調し、2016年にASEANとタイのトップ大学とのネットワークを構築することと、同窓生との交流を深める目的でバンコクでタイ代表事務所を開設したと述べました。それに対しシントン大使は日本の大学ランキングで1位に選出された東北大学を称賛し、このような優秀な大学にタイ人留学生、研究生、特に災害科学分野のタイ人教授が多く在籍していることを今後国際的な協力展開にも貢献できると歓迎しました。...
