On July 20, 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo sent support and encouragement to the Thai national blind soccer team.
Eight Thai blind footballers, along with trainers and staff travelled to Japan to practice with the Japanese national team in LIGA.i BLIND Football Top League 2022 in Japan and to prepare for the upcoming match in India.
During their stay in Japan, they also joined in a demonstration match to raise awareness for the Japanese people.
