Team Thailand Jointly Promoted Thai Mangosteen in Japan

... Thailand to Japan, highlighted that this new policy will give Japanese consumers the opportunity to taste very fresh Thai mangosteen. The Ambassador also stated that mangosteen is, in fact, a symbol of the relationship between Thailand and Japan. In the Sukhothai period, Japan had imported "Mangosteen-shaped incense bowl", a Sangkhalok ceramic ware from Thailand, which is still being used today in Japanese tea ceremonies.
