On this occasion, the Ambassador stated that Hitachi is important to the Thai ecnomy from the past to the present. Hitachi established the Lumada Centre in Chonburi Prefecture which responds to the Thailand 4.0 policy and hoped that Hitachi will support the “ASEAN Centre for Active Aging and Innovation" while Thailand is acting as the Chair of ASEAN.
On 28 October 2013, H.E. Mr. Thanatip Upatising attended a company visit organized by Hitachi Ltd. for ASEAN Ambssadors in Tokyo. The event was conducted to introduce Hitachi’s business activities including social infrastructure projects to ASEAN Ambassadors and also to promote friendship between the company and ASEAN Ambassadors.
