On 5 August 2020, Mr. MATSUTA Tomomi, Mayor of Misato Town, Akita Prefecture, called on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun to present a DVD recording messages of support and encouragement from Akita’s youthfor the Badminton Association of Thailand and schools in Nonthaburi Province.Misato Townis a host town for the Thai national badminton team to practice and familiarise themselves to Japan’s climate before competing in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

2022年11月1日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は秋田県美郷町を訪問しました。美郷町はバドミントン競技タイ代表チームのホストタウンで、大使は美郷中学校の生徒405人の基本情報、日タイ関係やタイ文化、タイ人が好きな日本のことなどについて講演しました。
そのほか、美郷中学校の生徒からタイのノンタブリー県アヌラーチャプラシット校との交流について大使に紹介がありました。2019年に美郷中学校とアヌラーチャプラシット校は相互訪問を行っており、現在もe-mailやオンラインで何度も交流を続けています。...
