The Ambassador and the delegation also exchanged opinions on Aomori Prefecture’s trade promotion activity in Thailand, travel measures and people-to-people relations which help facilitate the expansion of Aomoriapple export to Thailand, as well as Thai tropical fruit export to Japan. Thailand is the third largest market, after Taiwan and Hong Kong, for exporting of Aomoriapples, with a total of 753 tons in 2020.
