On 25July 2021, H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun congratulated “Tennis” Panipak Wongpattanakit on her legendary victory, winning the first gold medalist for Thailand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic.

During the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, Kita-Kyushu was also a host town for table tennis and taekwondo athletes from Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. MIURA congratulated on the success of Ms. Panipak Wongpattanakit, the Thai Taekwondo gold medalist in Tokyo Olympics, who participated in a training camp in Kita-Kyushu in preparation for the Games.
