The Ambassador welcomed Mayor of Mizuho
On 13 December 2021, Mr. SUGIURA Hiroyuki, Mayor of Mizuho Town, Tokyo, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. Both sides exchanged views on promoting friendly relations between Thailand and Mizuho Town. Note also that Mizuho Town signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the cooperation and friendly relations with Khonkaen City in Thailand in 2016.

On 8 December 2022, Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy, welcomed Mr. SUGIURA Hiroyuki, Mayor of Mizuho Town, Tokyo. Both sides exchanged views on promoting friendly relations between Thailand and Mizuho Town. Note that Mizuho Town signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation and friendly relations with Khonkaen, a province in the North east of Thailand, in 2016.
