Minister welcomed Mayor of Mizuho
... The Khonkaen Governor and Khonkaen Mayor led the delegation to Mizuho city between 11-13 May 2018 and the Governor of Mizuho will visit Thailand between 16 -19 December 2018. The Minister mentioned that the embassy is willing to help strengthening the Mizuho and Khonkaen relations.

... 2021, Mr. SUGIURA Hiroyuki, Mayor of Mizuho Town, Tokyo, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. Both sides exchanged views on promoting friendly relations between Thailand and Mizuho Town. Note also that Mizuho Town signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the cooperation and friendly relations with Khonkaen City in Thailand in 2016.
At this cordial meeting, the Mayor also presented cyclamen flower, a famous produce of the town, to the Ambassador.

Note that Mizuho Town signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation and friendly relations with Khonkaen, a province in the North east of Thailand, in 2016.
