2014.01.28 Ambassador’s special lecture on SME in SMRJ’s Thai Business Seminar
.... The seminar is under CEO Meeting Project, which brings 22 Thai SMEs entrepreneurs to Japan for business matching with Japanese entrepreneurs. It provided useful information for Japanese entrepreneurs who plan to do business in Thailand. Such cooperation was made among SMRJ, Ministry of Industry of Thailand and the Royal Thai Embassy.

Visit to Akita Prefecture by Ambassador

Courtesy call on Governor of Tokyo
On 5 August 2015, H.E. Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow paid a courtesy call on Mr. Yoichi Masuzoe, Governor of Tokyo. They exchanged views on areas such as cooperation in tackling issues unique to large cities, enhancement of activities of SMEs, and people-to-people exchanges. H.E. Ambassador Sihasak also conveyed his best wishes for the success of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

On 16 February 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn received a courtesy call by Honourable Ms. Harumi Takahashi, Governor of Hokkaido, at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. Ambassador Bansarn and Governor Takahashi agreed to step up cooperation and exchanges between Thailand and Hokkaido in various areas such as tourism, agriculture and SMEs.

President of Tokyo SME Support Center and delegation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

Tokyo SME Support Center opened branch in Thailand on the 23rd December 2015 which is the first oversea office under the cooperation with Ministry of Industry, Kasikorn Bank and Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute in Bangkok (TIRI) which reassure Japanese SMES in Thailand.
