Ambassador held discussion with executives of Kioxia

On 10 June 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, hosted a luncheon in honour of Dr. HAYASAKA Nobuo, President of Kioxia, as well as the company’s executives. This luncheon followed the prior meeting when H.E. Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Thailand, met with President of Kioxia on 22 April 2022 during the Deputy Prime Minister’s visit to Japan. Both sides had a friendly conversation on various aspects of bilateral relations between Thailand and Japan. On this occasion, the Ambassador also invited Kioxia to consider investing in Thailand as its cutting-edge flash memory technology is in line with Thailand’s target industry.
