On 25 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Sports and Tourism of Thailand, congratulated H.E. Mr. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), on the success of the Opening Ceremony of Tokyo 2020 Olympics on 23 July 2021.
