Ambassador paid a courtesy calls on Governor of Yamagata Prefecture and mayors of several cities in Yamagata Prefecture
... its agricultural products, including beef and cherries. The prefecture is also famous for the beautiful cherry blossom trees and is also a member of the Creative City of UNESCO. In addition, Yamagata City was a host town for Thai judo athletes in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 for which Thailand is thankful.
