... capacity as the Chairman of the Executive Committee gave an opening remarks for the “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Photo Exhibition in Yokohama” together with Madame Fumiko Hayashi, Mayor of the City of Yokohama which was held at Sankeien Garden. Following this year theme of Meiji 150 years: Japan transforming through Diplomats’ Eyes, on this occasion, the Ambassador mentioned that this year’s photo contest will take the theme of “Reflection on the Heisei Era” to celebrate the glory of Heisei.
