2023年3月23日、株式会社三井住友銀行本店にて、プラーンティップ・ガーンジャナハッタキット公使が三井住友銀行とタイ王国東部経済回廊事務局（EECO）共催のセミナー「Bio-Economy Business Opportunity in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)」に出席し、開会の挨拶をしました。
この機会に、公使はタイと日本の長年の友好関係及びタイの経済発展における日本からの投資の重要性を強調しました。また、タイの持続可能な社会を目指したBCG経済モデルについて触れ、特にタイのバイオエコノミーは、豊富な資源とタイ政府の数十年にわたるバイオ産業の支援に基づいた成長を期待できると述べました。
