三菱自動車工業㈱幹部らが大使を表敬訪問
2023年９月14日、三菱自動車工業㈱の辻昇専務執行役員（コーポレートガバナンス担当）とミツビシ・モーターズ（タイランド）の小糸栄偉知社長が、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使を表敬訪問しました。大使の定年退職に際して挨拶し、感謝の意を表しました。ガノッポーン・ショーティパーン公使（経済・投資）も出席しました。
双方は、三菱自動車のタイでの電気自動車（EV）産業への投資、タイ政府の政策、タイの自動車部品メーカーに影響を与えるEVの人気の高まりについて話し合いました。それについて大使は、タイと日本が協力してシステム全体の変革を支援すべきであると強調しました。また、同社がタイ産自動車の輸出の先駆者であること、タイでの大規模工場、タイの自動車産業の未来を牽引し続ける計画等を通して、タイの自動車産業をグレードアップさせたことに感謝の意を表しました。
